నేను సాయబుని… అని సినిమా ఫక్కీలో చెప్పుకోవడంలో మీతిమీరిన అత్మాభిమానం, అహంకారం తప్ప మరేం లేదేమో విజ్ఞులు ఆలోచించాలి. ఇది ఏ చవకరకం తెలుగుసిన్మా స్టీరియోటైపు. భారతీయులంటే హిందువులని మీకు ఏ విప్లవకారుడు చెప్పాడో నాకు తెలియదు. కమ్యూనిస్టులు అలా అనుకుంటారని నాకు తెలియదు. వాళ్ళలా అనుకుంటున్నారని మీఅంతట మీరు భావిస్తే దానికి ఎవరేం చేస్తారు.
సుధాకర్ పేరులోని భారతీయతని ఏసందర్భంలో ప్రస్తావించవలసి వచ్చిందో ఒకసారి పైకవిత (అది కవిత్వం అయితే) చదివితే సరిపోతుంది. ఇక దిగుమతి విషయానికి వస్తే అమెరికా సామ్రాజ్యవాదాన్ని ఎదిరించిన సద్దాం హుస్సైన గురించి తెలుగులో గొప్ప కవిత్వం వచ్చింది. సంకలనం కూడా వచ్చింది. అదంతా దిగుమతిచేసుకున్న సామ్రాజ్యవాదవ్యతిరేకత అందామా.
ఇక్కడ లిస్టులతో పనిలేదు. నమ్మకం ఉన్నవాడు ఒక్కడు చాలు. ఆమాటకొస్తే మొదటినుంచీ ఏటికి ఎదురీదే వాళ్ళంతా ఎవరు. ప్రజలకోసం ప్రాణాలిచ్చినవారెవరు. లిస్టులోని పేర్లతో ఎక్కువతక్కువలు చూపించాలనుకోవడం తమవర్గాలకు తామే ప్రతినిధులనుకోవటం అమాయకత్వం.అజ్ఞానం. గల్లీజీవితాలు, వాడబతుకులు చూసినవాడు గల్లీరాజకీయాలు చేయరాదు. సంకుచిత గల్లీకవిత్వం రాయకూడదు. తమ బతుకులకు కారణమెవరో, ముందునుంచీ తమతరపున ఎవరు నుంచున్నారో తెలుసుకోవాలి. అసలు దొంగని విడిచిపెట్టి వాడినితరిమేవాడిని పట్టుకుని తిట్టడంలోని ఔచిత్యం ప్రశ్నించినందుకు ఇంత చర్చ కావాల్సి వచ్చింది. విషయమేమంటే అవతలివారు చెప్పేది వినే ఓపికలేదు. విన్నా లోపల సంకుచిత ఆలోచనలున్నాయి. అవి ఉన్నంతవరకూ మన చెవులు చెవిటి చెవులే.
కొందరు రాళ్ళేసేవారు తయారయ్యారు. వాళ్ళు ఎటువైపు రాళ్ళు విసురుతున్నారో ఎందుకువేస్తున్నారో వారికే తెలియదు. వాళ్ళ అక్షరజ్ఞానం ఏమిటో వారి ఏరకం ప్రగతిశీలవాదులో ఎవరికీ అర్థం కాదు. వాళ్ళకు కావలసిందంతా ఎటోకటు రాళ్ళు విసరటమే. ఎటోకటు. చివరకు తమనెత్తిమీద పడినా సరే. అటువంటివాళ్ళకు ఎవరేం చెప్పగలరు.. దూరంగా ఉండి చర్చలోంచి నిష్క్రమించడం తప్ప…
